The objectives of our business centre service are to exceed hotel guests expectations, while providing the hotel with a cost effective, all inclusive service, and the assurance that it can leave the management of the service to HERE’S INFO.
We provide a complete business centre service, including all equipment, systems, supplies, continuous monitoring, repairs and maintenance, and guest call assistance.
EQUIPMENT
  • PC: Intel NUC with solid state memory, mounted on the back of the monitor.
  • Monitor: Asus 24” 16:10 aspect ratio (extra screen height benefits working with vertical documents)
  • USB3 hub mounted on the base of the monitor, for easy user access.
  • HP Laserjet Pro Printer Scanner.
  • Headset: For use with Skype, YouTube viewing etc.
  • Cabling is discreetly secured and hidden, avoiding the typical computer cable clutter.
  • SYSTEM INSTALLED
  • Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
  • Microsoft Office 2013, providing Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • PDF viewer and creator
  • Paint.net graphics editor

  • SECURITY
  • Physical: All equipment is discreetly secured by cable. HERE’S INFO is responsible for any loss.
  • Systems, user information etc: The PC reboots at the end of each session, clearing all user data from the drive. It also removes any programs, viruses etc. that a user may have downloaded during a session.
  • USER ACCESS
  • The service is complimentary for users. Session length is set by the hotel, as is whether or not a password is required for access.
  • In place of a desktop with a clutter of links, our Menu screen contains links to the programs and sites that most users require, grouped into the following categories: Web browsing; Work; Social Media; Useful tools & links; File & Folders
  • AIRLINE BOARDING PASS PRINTING
    To facilitate this service, a menu screen contains links to the check-in screen for each of the airlines that use western Canadian airports.
    PRINTING, SCANNING
    Black and white printing is provided by the HP Laserjet printer.
    HERE’S INFO keeps the hotel supplied with replacement toner cartridges, requesting notification when cartridges are replaced.
    The scanner has a multi page document feed. Output may be as a print (copy), or saved in various file formats.
    SKYPE
    Skype is available for users with Skype accounts. A headset is provided, and if required by the hotel, a webcam may be mounted on the monitor.
    SERVICE MONITORING
    HERE’S INFO continuously monitors each station to ensure that it is available for use. If service is lost, we inform the hotel, initially through an automated email, requesting that certain procedures be performed to bring the service back. If the problem persists, we work with the hotel staff to locate and correct the cause.
    MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
    The hotel is required to perform a daily service check, cleaning the monitor and keyboard, and refilling the printer paper try. HERE’S INFO is responsible for wear and tear and damage, and will promptly repair or replace any equipment when notified by the hotel.
    ON-CALL ASSISTANCE
    HERE’S INFO maintains an 8am – 8pm on-call service 7 days per week, for guests and hotel staff that have any questions or are experiencing difficulties with the service.
    COST TO THE HOTEL
    HERE’S INFO pays for all costs of supplying and operating the service.
    The hotel pays to HERE’S INFO a fixed monthly fee for the complete service.
    TERM OF AGREEMENT
    Initial 3 months, with 3 month termination notice.
    INSTALLATION LEAD TIME
    Approximately 2 – 3 weeks from placement of order
